Her academic journey reflects her evolving interests, culminating in a Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University, specializing in psychiatric mental health.

As a nurse, she gained valuable experience in cardiac care before transitioning to psychiatric nursing. Her expertise now spans substance abuse treatment, crisis intervention, care for the severely mentally ill, and general outpatient mental health services. This broad exposure has equipped Lisa with the skills to treat a wide range of mental health conditions across diverse patient populations.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Lisa combines her educational background, nursing experience, and personal insights as a mother to provide holistic, compassionate care. Maggie is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly 15 years of experience, having begun her career in emergency and trauma care at a Level 1 hospital in the Valley. Her time in the emergency department built a strong medical foundation and sharpened her ability to think critically, remain calm under pressure, and provide compassionate care during patients’ most vulnerable moments.
Maggie later earned her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from the University of Phoenix and transitioned into primary care, where she developed a deeper understanding of whole-person care. Through this work, Maggie witnessed firsthand the close connection between physical and emotional health—particularly in children and adolescents—which led her to pursue her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from Herzing University.
Maggie is passionate about working with children and adolescents ages 5–18 and supporting their families, while also providing care to adults across the lifespan. She takes a collaborative, practical, and holistic approach to mental health care that extends beyond medication management. She also assists families in navigating school systems, including IEP and 504 plans, to ensure children receive the educational support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a wife and mother of two, Maggie brings both professional expertise and personal empathy to her work. She is deeply committed to helping individuals and families in the community find balance, connection, and hope.
